Google Pixel 5

Google Pixel 5 Review:

The google pixel 5 has finally been revealed, we've got plenty of pixel 5 information to share with you guys. today we've got the design finally revealed in a live photo, A full 360 degree render of the google pixel 5, the release date, and the specs of the upcoming smartphone, before we get started, please like the video if you're a fan of google pixels, and let me know in the comments, what phone you're watching this video on.

Before we get into the design reveal of the google pixel 5, we have more news about the new google Pixel launch event, well we initially thought that both of their new devices, that were going to be launched in October. But John Prosser who has been very accurate with launch dates in the past, is tweeted to say that it's going to be launching on the 30th of September, and that the 4a 5G will be coming in October, as well as he also said that, the google pixel 5 is going to be available in two colors, which will be black, and green. This is great news for those of you that were worried, that the pixel 5 could be delayed, and it means it's only just over a month to wait.

Next up we've got the 3D renders of the google pixel 5, and these come courtesy of leaks and the price bar, the detail in these pixel 5 renders come from leak cad information, and they tell a different story to what we previously expected, according to this information the pixel 5 is going to measure in at 144.7mm by 70.4mm by 8.1 millimeters, and although it looks exactly the same as we've been seeing, we were previously told by ross young, that the pixel 5 is going to be coming with a 6.67 inch, 120 hertz display, but that may actually be wrong, the pixel 5 we see here shows us a 5.7 to 5.8 inch display, which is now believed to only be 90 hertz.

First up there won't be any XL version, there's only going to be Pixel 5. we get a full screen display with a punch hole selfie camera in the top left, and if we move to the back you can see it does look very similar to the 4a, we've got a plain matte black finish with a physical fingerprint scanner, and a square camera module in the top left unlike the 4a, however the google pixel 5 has a dual camera setup on the rear, and interestingly enough it looks exactly the same as the pixel 4's camera module, but flipped upside down, and Finally Google is bringing an ultra-wide camera to the Pixel lineup specifically to the Pixel 5.

As many of you already know it's going to be a cheaper device this time round, and it won't be coming with the flagship specs, it will however be a capable device as it's using the snapdragon 765 G, and that's going to be coupled with 8 gigs of ram, and 128 gigs internal storage,

everything else remains similar to the 4a, apart from the increased size on the pixel 5 allows for a much larger battery capacity, well the 4a managed with a 2,800 milliamp hour cellphone, the pixel 5 is coming with a 3,080 milliamp hour battery that should easily last a day.

Wireless and reverse wireless charging will also be there on the handset. The pixel 5 is of course going to be 5G compatible, and it's expected to launch around 650 to 699 Dollar.

We've got a leaked image of both the pixel 5, and the pixel 4a 5G. You can see they both look similar,

but of course are different colors, the image originally came from a reddit post, which has since been deleted so we can't verify the source, but when it comes to google they're terrible at keeping secrets, so it's very likely that these are real, so with the launch date fast approaching on the 30th of September, it's not long until you guys can get your hands on the pixel 5.

Of course, do let me know what do you think down in the comments, and as always I'll see you guys in the next video.

Huawei Shocked Samsung and Apple

So for the first Time, Huawei managed to surpass Samsung for the most number of smartphones sold worldwide in a particular quarter. Thereby claiming the title of the world's biggest smartphone vendor. If you remember Huawei did manage to beat Samsung in the month of April but it's the first time ever that they are at the top for the entire quarter. Huawei shipped 55.8 million devices, whereas Samsung shipped 53.7 million smartphones in Quarter 2. They managed to beat Samsung only because of the pandemic. You see Huawei's main market is China which contributes to over 70% of its business. Given how China was the first to end up in this COVID mess, it’s also the first country to experience the recovery. When cases were being spiked in countries like the US, Europe, India, and more which are Samsung's main markets, there were very minimal cases in China and the economy was back to normal. Since Samsung has less than 1% market share in China, this gave Huawei a huge advantage because its reliance on the China market has given them a big and you can say an unfair advantage.

Even the senior analyst at Canalys who compiled this report says the same thing that and I quote, "If it wasn't for COVID, it wouldn't have happened. Huawei has taken full advantage of the Chinese economic recovery to reignite its smartphone business." Since the economy is getting back to normal
in Samsung's main markets, they will more likely reclaim the number one spot in quarter 3 of this year.
It looks like the end of Bixby is near. Bloomberg reports that Samsung and Google are in a discussion for a deal that involves promoting the Google Assistant and the Play Store over Samsung’s own alternatives which are Bixby and Galaxy store. Samsung has built an ecosystem of its own on top of Android and Google. This ecosystem covers apps like web browsers and email clients, the Galaxy Store for apps, and the Bixby assistant. Since Samsung sells the most smartphones in a year, shipping over 300 million units every single year, Google certainly stands to benefit a lot from this massive scale.
Since Samsung invested quite a lot of money into building this ecosystem, it will take some convincing this time. Google has a multi-billion-dollar agreement with Apple to be the default search provider
in the Safari browser. So we can expect a similar deal with Samsung as well where Google pays certain billion dollars to Samsung for certain years to push Assistant and play store over Bixby and Galaxy
Store.

This is certainly great news for people who are annoyed with Bixby as it's inferior to the Google assistant but Galaxy store features some exclusive apps and games that are not available on the play store. So this means Samsung users will not have that exclusivity anymore.

Samsung Galaxy Note20 Ultra

Samsung Galaxy Note20 Ultra

What's up guys, so here it is, Welcome to your very first look, and my first impressions of the Samsung galaxy note 20, and note 20 ultra. This is indeed the beginning of a new era for the note family. So in Samsung’s unpacked event, a lot of stuff being announced. That includes the Galaxy Note 20, the Note 20 Ultra, the Galaxy Z Fold 2, the Galaxy Buds live, the Galaxy Watch 3, and of course the Galaxy Tab S7, and S7+. We'll get to all of it eventually, but we're going to cover. The two main new things which are the two new flagship phones the Note 20, and Note 20 Ultra. The Note 20, and Note 20 Ultra, promising more S Pen functionality, better cameras, and all the productivity that Note loyalists rely on

So starting with the design impression, hats off to the designing team the 20 ultra is a cool phone. More screen, smaller bezels, a more manageable phone. The Galaxy note has color for starters, and combines a grippy fingerprint resisting back with a logo, that's embossed as opposed to just flush with the body, and a high-gloss camera module, also I like the fact that the cameras now look defined, and purposeful compared to their last phone.

My other impression is that, this camera protrusion is enormous, only because the phone itself is slimmer, they've kept the thickness at the camera section the same, but for the rest of the body it's fallen from 8.8 millimeters to 8.1, and in that process it's become lighter too, both are sealed against water, and dust. The Galaxy Note 20 ultra is the first phone in the world to be fitted with gorilla glass 7, which is 1.2 times more drop resistant, and 2 times more scratch resistant versus the gorilla glass 6 on the s series.

When it comes to the looks and Design, it feels the note 20 ultra rocks a premium glossy body. The design is so much more refined than the galaxy s20 ultra, in my opinion the note 20 ultra has the most beautiful modern camera bump design. I love the rings around the camera, the color of the camera bump my favorite is the silver camera bump on the white model, it looked really really sleek. Note 20 ultra has these razor sharp corners to make them look boxier, and visually separate from the s series, and also I guess to make them feel more like a pad for writing on. but I just can't get used to them compared to the soft corners of their other phones this just feels a little shabby, overall though note 20 kills it in design.

So Note has top-notch, snapdragon 865 plus, up to 12 gb of ram, at 256 gb to 512gb of storage, and that's still expandable via micro sd card slot up top, that's still pretty rare, and there's a 4500 milliamp hour battery inside, a triple camera array which we'll get to in a second, and a huge 6.9 inch, 1440p super Amo Led quad hd plus 120 hertz refresh rate  display, with that little selfie camera hole punch cutout in the middle up top there. It is a bit of a curve display over the edges, this is probably one of the best displays in any smartphone. It’s crazy that Samsung managed to shrink the punch hole even more, and also shrink the bezels, this phone is more bezel-less than any Samsung smartphone out there right now.

Now at the moment, the 120hertz mode is still locked at full hd plus resolution, just like the galaxy s20 ultra if you switch to quad hd, then you have to switch to 60 hertz, the 120 hertz option in the note 20 ultra is mentioned as adaptive mode, so this means that it can drop to 1 hertz when you're not using the phone in order to conserve more batteries. so you could say that this is the most efficient 120 hertz panel on a flagship phone. Since life isn't just about work, You need the power to play. This is not just mobile gaming. This is X box gaming on your phone. X box Game Pass Ultimate gives you 100+ X box games without download. Now you can play what you want With who you want. Thanks to 5G.

Let’s check out this camera bump, so the rounded rectangle housing the triple cameras, and the galaxy note 20 ultra is absolutely massive. Inside this bump you have the main camera setup that you'd expect, with the standard, ultra-wide, and telephoto. And this time in the note 20 ultra, the telephoto lens is in fact a periscope lens nested sideways in the phone, allowing you 5x optical zoom, and up to a 50x space zoom, and I think we're all okay with maxing out at 50x, as long as the quality of the zoom we actually want like 3x, 5 and 10x are actually better, and it seems to be. They also kept 8k video from the s20 ultra, and added a few different aspect ratios. But it's worth noticing that, all of them will shoot from the 64 megapixel telephoto camera, not the main camera, so the quality still going to be not good if you shoot in 8k.

In case you were wondering, of course this wouldn't be a galaxy note, if we didn't have that s pen, which is moved over to the left side of the phone. Every year it’s getting more and more improved, and this year the s pen makes one particularly huge step forward, they've cut the latency from about 42 milliseconds to 9 milliseconds. It feels precise and instantly reactive to your touch, which almost feels like writing on a paper, and the subtle pencil sound effects make it a very enjoyable experience. The S pen has now arrived at apple pencil levels of responsiveness, in fact it's matched that nine millisecond number.

It doesn’t have a headphone jack, but it has an A-grade set of stereo speakers, and support wireless charging as well as, Reverse wireless charging.
